WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JAVA AND JAVASCRIPT?

Although the names are almost the same, Java is not the same as JavaScript!
Java is an object-oriented programming language.
JavaScript is a scripting language, implemented as an extension of HTML.

WHY CAN'T I SEE THE JAVA? I ONLY SEE A GRAY BOX

Most browsers can view JAVA. The older ones cannot, and sometimes you will encounter a security issue which requires that the Java be disabled. There are some incompatibility issues between IE and Netscape. I have composed and tested my pages using IE Version3. If you have difficulties with a certain page, please write me and be sure to tell me what browser you are using.

I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE REGARDING THE IMAGES

If you have your image preferences set for "compress", you may not be able to view the applet. You will need to deselect the compress mode. You may need to adjust your "preference" settings on your browser to custom java selections. Please read this for more info:
